Dear Colleague,

The Hungarian Association for Buiatrics is delighted to invite you to the XXXIV International Scientific Congress of the Hungarian Association for Buiatrics, which will be held in Hunguest Hotel Béke****, Hajdúszoboszló, between October 14 and 17, 2026. Lectures and posters will be presented on October 15 and 16, while a workshop will be organized on October 17.

The Congress program will aim to update the scientific knowledge and professional skills of veterinary surgeons and stock breeders in bovine, ovine, and caprine practice, enabling them to meet the ever-increasing demands of farm animal medicine and become more familiar with each other.

In addition to the scientific program, social programs will be organized for the participants and their accompanying persons. The exhibition area will serve as an exhibition area for the congress sponsors to present products manufactured by various companies.

The organizers will do their best to offer you successful and agreeable days in Hajdúszoboszló, Hungary.

VENUE OF THE CONGRESS

Hunguest Hotel Béke**** (Hajdúszobosztló, close to Debrecen) is where business can be mixed with relaxation! The wellness section has a swimming pool, jacuzzi, saunas, and fitness room to help you recharge after a tiring day.

OFFICIAL LANGUAGE

The official working languages will be English and Hungarian. Simultaneous translation will be provided for all scientific sessions.

Please complete the enclosed pre-registration form and return it with your abstract(s) to the Congress Secretariat no later than June 30, 2026. The preliminary registration fees and accommodation costs are published for your information only; payment should be made upon receiving detailed instructions in the second announcement.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The organizer of the XXXIV International Scientific Congress of the Hungarian Association for Buiatrics is delighted to invite you to contribute to achieving the original goal of updating the scientific knowledge and professional skills of veterinary surgeons and stock breeders in bovine, ovine, and caprine practice by presenting papers related to the subjects and/or actively participating in the scientific program.

If you intend to present a contribution to the congress, please indicate on the reply card and send an abstract of your paper, with a maximum of 500 words, to the Congress Secretariat before June 30, 2026.

The abstract should be as informative as possible. It should contain the specific objectives, experimental methods, statistical analyses employed, and a synthesis of results and conclusions.

The text should be written in a single space with double space between paragraphs. A blank line should be inserted between the title and author(s) and affiliations(s) and between affiliation(s) and the text. The title and author(s) should be in 14-point font in bold, centred on the page. The typeface should be Times New Roman. The presenting author’s name should be underlined. Affiliation(s) and text should be in 12-point font.

Contributors will be notified shortly after submission about the acceptance of their abstract, but not later than July 14, 2026. The text should be sent by e-mail.

Abstracts must be submitted in English. The accepted abstracts will be published in the Proceedings. Publishing is conditional upon at least one author registering at the congress.
